IW 7570 on EFRR at TQW  Contributor's Pick!
Illinois Western GP10 #7570 seen on the EFRR Shortline, parked on the siding leading in to the Total Quality Warehouse [TQW owned by Agracel who also own IW and EFRR] unloading facility. Of interest are the unique spoting features provided by the air vent shields on the walls which enabled me to positively identify the TQW building when looking towards it from the CN yard and CN/EFRR interchange tracks. This photo was supplied to me by Charlie Barenfanger, CEO of the EFRR and IW after an email contact. Charles also provided me with details of the history of IW 7570. If you live near or can visit the EFRR then please take some more photos particularly of the buildings..

Switchman Images General Are they friendly enough to allow photos of this engine? I wonder if it faces north or south? I remember seeing this engine years ago, it was painted for a proposed industrial park @ Greenville, IL. 11/24/2009 8:39:18 PM
Mark Fryer General Yes Eric they are a friendly lot, so just get in contact with them to let them know when you are likely to be visiting and after signing the usual sort of forms they may even show you around. The 7570 is facing North. The latest photos of 7570 show it in its Phase 2 EFRR inspired paint job and looking sharp. 11/25/2009 5:19:35 AM
